The American Red Cross is currently providing services to people affected by the flooding throughout Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. The Red Cross is also supporting people affected by floods in Utah and Arizona, and preparing for potential flooding in Nebraska.
More than 860 Red Cross workers are helping people in Colorado, providing food, shelter, relief, and emotional support. The Red Cross also provided a total of 3,800 shelter stays for people forced out of their home because of the flooding.
There is an Emergency Assistance Center where people could meet with nurses, counserlors, and caseworkers. Cleaning items are also available for people to use on their water-damaged homes.
We feel tremendous gratitude for all the volunteers who are helping in Colorado.
