Over the hills and through the woods to grandmother’s house we go, but what if the way is covered with freezing rain, hail, and knee-deep snow? With the looming snowfall, and bone chilling temperatures, it’s critical to consider storing a winter weather driving kit in your car. By doing this you’ll be sure to help prevent you and your family from becoming stuck in this winter’s wildness.
Items you’ll want to include are:
First Aid Kit- Consisting of cold medicine, medicated lip balm, and heating pads.
Cat Litter- For tire traction to keep the car from sliding on steep hills.
Warm Items- An extra set of clothes, socks, gloves, hats, blankets.
Flashlights and extra batteries.
A multi-tool knife
Food- Dry snack, consisting of non-perishable food, and bottled water.
Winter weather can be wonderful, but being stuck in a snow or ice storm can be miserable. This winter play it smart, and store a winter weather driving kit in your car. You’ll see, it will provide peace of mind when traveling from point A to point B.
