It's time to get central Ohio Red Cross ready!

Today marks the beginning of our partnership with WBNS-10TV and the United Way of Central Ohio to prepare central Ohio residents to Be Red Cross Ready. What does that mean for you?

Take the online Be Red Cross Ready test so you can see how prepared you are for disasters.  At the end of the test/presentation you will receive personalized advice on how to be better prepared in case there is an emergency.

If you live in Franklin County:  Bring your disaster kit list or completed communication plan to your Red Cross, located at 995 East Broad St., Columbus 43205, to receive a free Family First Aid kit, along with a discount on a first aid or CPR class at the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus.

If you live outside of Franklin County: ask your local Red Cross chapter if they are participating in the 10TV/United Way campaign. Many local chapters are providing special gifts to residents when they show their disaster kit list or communication plan.
